CIRCLE OF FRIENDS
Monday, March 19th at 7pm in The Multi-Purpose Room.
Circle of friends will meet and worship together around how God talks to us and what kinds of things we listen to. We have plenty to say to God but we don't always think He is listening. 1 Kings 19:11-13
OPPORTUNITIES TO SERVE – WORSHIP/TECHNICAL MINISTRY
If you want to be a part of the Worship and Technical ministries, we would love to meet you and get you connected.
There are many different avenues for utilizing your unique gifts and talents. Here are a few:
Worship Band - This team leads the music for Sunday mornings. On Sunday mornings, worship team practice begins at 8am. Some people play a few times a month, some less frequently. If you sing or play an instrument, we would love to meet you!
Sound Team - These wonderful people run sound during our services. This role requires some more advanced technical ability. If you’re not sure if you are qualified, we may be able to train you.
Media Team - We have one person run the computer each week which controls the presentations and video components of the service. This role does not require any advanced technical ability. If you can use a computer, we can train you to help us run our media. People on this team usually serve a few times a month.
If you are interested in joining our teams or learning more, simply email William Bolding, Worship Leader, at email@example.com. We’ll schedule an informal time to get together and talk in more detail about your interest and answer any questions you might have.
MISSIONARY SPEAKER NEXT SUNDAY
Keith Neigenfind, International Worker in Thailand, will be here March 16-18th. He will be at the Men’s Saturday morning Bible Study and will bring the message on Sunday morning. Keith is married and has two young children. He is on home assignment and will be returning to Thailand soon. Come and hear him share his enthusiasm of church planting in a place where few have heard the Good News.
TIME OF WORSHIP/PRAYER/TOWN HALL MEETING
Sunday, March 25th at 10:30am. This will be a special service that will focus on prayer, praise and worship. It will also be a time to hear from the Transition Team about the new mission, vision and value statements, what they say about where we are at as a church, give feedback to the Team, and then see where we need to be moving forward as we look for a new pastor. Look for these MVV statements soon in preparation for this meeting!

KID’S CHECK SYSTEM
Attn: Parents who have kids in our Children’s Church program!
In an effort to keep our children safe, we have invested in a Kid’s Check System. Please register your child this Sunday if you haven’t already for this new check-in system for children’s church. Children’s Church starts at the beginning of the service now so check your child in downstairs before the service.
Life Groups meet throughout the week all over the South End. Life Groups are intended to be more than just an evening with friends, they are designed to foster transformational environments where people can journey and do life together wherever life happens. We encourage you to find a group that is the right fit. Whether you are new to our church or have been here for a while, we encourage you to visit one or as many groups as you would like. Once you are settled in a group, dig in and rejoice in doing life with one another, all the while making a big deal out of Christ.
Contact Pastor Luis if you would like more info about getting involved in a Life Group - email@example.com

"What happens when we live God's way? He brings gifts into our lives, much the same way that fruit appears in an orchard- things like affection for others, exuberance about life, serenity. We develop a willingness to stick with things, a sense of compassion in the heart, and a conviction that a basic holiness permeates things and people. We find ourselves involved in loyal commitments, not needing to force our way in life, able to marshal and direct our energies wisely". (Galatians 5:22-23 The Message)
