Ministries & Outreach

The Island Church is a great place to meet new people. Our desire is to connect people from all walks of life not only to God but to each other. It is our prayer that after connecting with others you would grow together and then serve together in God's Kingdom.

Ways to connect . . .

  • Children

During Sunday mornings children are able to learn about Jesus in age-appropriate ways. We provide a nursery and children's church for children ages four through fourth  grade.

  • LifeGroups

At the Island Church we call our small groups, LifeGroups. LifeGroups are an essential part of our church, they provide a place where deeper fellowship and better support for one another can take place. From the fall to the spring our LifeGroups meet throughout the week all over the South End. We encourage you to check out a few groups and connect with others navigating the same journey.

  • Missions

We are part of something bigger.

There are over 2,000 Christian and Missionary Alliance churches in the U.S. alone, with over 500,000 believers who worship in over 37 languages every week.  In addition, over 20,000 C&MA churches gather internationally. Missions was the heart of the Alliance at its founding and continues to be our guiding principle.

Part of seeking to love God and others well is reaching out to our community, supporting others as they reach out, and sending teams to bless what God is doing elsewhere—locally and globally.
